Question1. Where was the Indian Navy's biggest military exercise TROPEX 23 held?

Answer: - TROPEX, the flagship maritime exercise of the Indian Navy was conducted in the Indian Ocean region. The three-month long exercise not only sees participation from all units of the Indian Navy but also from assets belonging to the Indian Army, Indian Air Force and Coast Guard. The exercise is being conducted both in harbor and at sea in various phases covering various aspects of combat operations including live firing of weapons.

Answer: - Renowned architect and Padma Bhushan awardee Balkrishna Doshi has passed away at the age of 95. Buildings and institutions Balkrishna Doshi has built include the Institute of Indology, CEPT University and Kanoria Center for the Arts in Ahmedabad, the Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore and Aranya Low Cost Housing, a township for low to middle income families in Indore. He was the first Indian to receive the Pritzker Architecture Prize.

Question3. Ministry of AYUSH has signed an MoU to which institute to promote Medical Value Travel in India?

Answer: - Ministry of AYUSH has signed an MoU with India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), Ministry of Tourism, Government of India to promote Medical Value Travel in Ayurveda and other traditional systems of medicine. Ministry of AYUSH and ITDC will identify tourist circuits where there is immense scope for promotion of medical value travel. The Director of Ministry of AYUSH is Dr. Shashi Ranjan Vidyarti and the Director (Commercial & Marketing) of ITDC is Piyush Tiwari.

Answer: - A committee headed by MC Mary Kom has been formed to probe the allegations against the Wrestling Federation of India. Its other members include Yogeshwar Dutt and Trupti Murgunde. During the investigation, the committee will also look after the day-to-day administration of the Wrestling Federation of India.

Answer: - The song 'Naatu Naatu' from the film RRR and two documentaries from India - 'All That Breathes' and 'The Elephant Whispers' have been nominated for Oscars. The Hollywood cast announced nominations in all 23 categories in a global live stream at the Academy's Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, California. The awards will be presented at a ceremony to be held on March 13 at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.

Answer: - India and Egypt have signed an MoU to facilitate content exchange, capacity building and co-production between Prasar Bharati and the National Media Authority of Egypt. Within the scope of this MoU, both the broadcasters will exchange their programs on bilateral basis in different genres of sports, news, culture, entertainment and many other areas and these programs will be broadcast on their radio and television platforms.

Answer: - Chandigarh Administrator and Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit has recently inaugurated North India's largest floating solar project of 2000 KWP in Chandigarh. He also inaugurated a 500 KWP floating solar power plant set up on Dhanas Lake.

Answer: - The Shanghai Cooperation Organization Film Festival is being organized by the National Film Development Corporation, a Public Sector Undertaking of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in association with the SCO Council of Heads of States in Mumbai from January 27 to January 31, 2023. The festival will open with the world premiere of the Tamil film 'Appatha'. The film is directed by Padma awardee and National Award winning filmmaker Priyadarshan, while it is co-produced by Jio Studios and Wide Angle Creations.
